Graduado Raiz – eredeti nevén Kurcsík Erik – 2006-ban találkozott először a capoeirával, a televízióban látott egy riportot az egyik workshopról. A második edzésén már maga is részt vett egyen, mely megfogta véglegesen.

Mindennapjai nagy részét a capoeira világa tölti ki, az edzések, az éneklés, a hangszerek. Versenyeken többször is sikerült felkerülnie a dobogó harmadik fokára.

Mostani kék övét 2015-ben a bécsi övezésen szerezte meg.

Grad. Narizinhoval együtt vezeti a tatabányai csoportot.
